Our Founder, George Schonath, passed away November 3, 2008 at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. We remain dedicated to the core principles we were founded on to ensure the long-term growth and success of our clients.
In 1980 George started Bando McGlocklin Capital Corporation with Jon McGlocklin and Sal Bando to finance owner-occupied commercial real estate. In 1997 InvestorsBank was started to serve the banking needs of the entrepreneur and the commercial real estate investor.
The family purchased InvestorsBank from shareholders in 2003. Today InvestorsBank is a full-service business bank known for its expertise in commercial real estate and its entrepreneurial spirit.
We think like entrepreneurs. We understand the challenges and demands of business and our decisions are based on a business earnings potential, not just its track record. George believed that required an entrepreneurial spirit.
Our purpose is to serve the entrepreneur with integrity and to create jobs. George believed it was important to do what is right, just, and fair, regardless of the cost and that is the way we run our business.
He believed that what we stand for and why we exist gives meaning and significance to what we do. That makes us different. He believed spirit makes the man and our entrepreneurial spirit sets us apart.
Our success requires entrepreneurial spirit, hard work, and the pursuit of excellence.
Our work has just begun.
